First Canning Experiment!

Finally bit the bullet and tried my hand at canning. Full disclosure, canning the peaches took two tries, as the Pressure Cooker XL was used, and it recommended 20 mins for canning the peaches. The first batch did not come out as anticipated. After reviewing the steps taken, a second batch was started. This time the peaches were canned for only

10 mins and came out great, IMHO of course lol. As for the gingham toppers, I would definitely make them much shorter next time, again, this was a first time so not too worried lol.

So now the next experiment will be with canned Salsa. I have to be very careful learning how to do this, following every step carefully till I get my legs so to speak, because acidity issues etc, so watch this space!
